Description

Somatic Yoga blends the philosophy of “somatics”, which unifies mind and body, with traditional yoga.

 
Outcomes/Benefits
  • Beneficial for flexibility, balance, strength, alignment and tension release in mind and body

  • helpful for those with muscle and joint pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or joint replacements

 

Ability Level
  • Great for all ability levels.

 

Tips/Preparation
  • Modifications will be offered throughout to accommodate beginner to intermediate.

 

Equipment Used
  • Yoga mats – provided by WRF.

 
Attire
  • Wear comfortable, loose clothing

  • Indoor gym shoes, stocking feet or clean, bare feet

 
What to Bring (Optional)
  • Bring your own yoga mat, if you prefer, a water bottle and towel.
